Xiaomi has officially launched the Civi 5 Pro in China on May 22, 2025. This marks a major upgrade over the previous model, the Civi 4 Pro. The new smartphone brings together elegant design and strong performance. It targets users who want a premium look with high-end features.
Design and Display
The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro comes with a 6.55-inch quad-curved OLED display. It offers a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen gets very bright, up to 1400 nits, which makes it easy to see even in sunlight. The bezels are extremely thin at just 1.6mm, giving the phone a modern and sleek look.
The phone is slim and lightweight, measuring only 7.45mm thick and weighing 184 grams. It comes in five stylish color options: Black, White, Pink, Purple, and a special "Iced American" version, which has a soft coffee scent built into the material.
Performance and Hardware
The Civi 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of fast UFS 4.0 storage. Compared to its predecessor, this phone offers 31% better CPU performance, 49% better graphics performance, and 44% faster AI tasks.
To improve gaming, it includes a special gaming antenna that reduces lag and improves network stability. Xiaomi has also added a unique three-dimensional convex liquid cooling system. This helps the phone stay cool during heavy use.
The phone runs on HyperOS 2.1, which is based on Android 15. The system is fast, smooth, and user-friendly.
Camera Capabilities
One of the biggest highlights of the Civi 5 Pro is its camera setup. On the back, the phone includes:
A 50MP main sensor with a Summilux lens and optical image stabilization.
A 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
A 12MP ultra-wide lens.
For selfies, there is a 50MP front-facing camera. It uses a special “super-transparent nanoprism” that improves light intake by 25%. This means better photos, even in low-light conditions.

The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro comes with a big 6000mAh battery. It supports 67W fast charging. According to the company, the phone can go from 0% to 100% in under 40 minutes. This makes it ideal for users who need fast and long-lasting power.
