The POCO X7 series is launching in India next week. The brand is gearing up for the release of the new POCO phones and has started shifting its product portfolio to Xiaomi's website. POCO announced in October last year that its official website would be shut down and shifted to Xiaomi's website. At the same time, now POCO websites have been shut down in many global regions and a new dedicated section has been created on Xiaomi's website.
POCO global website shut down
POCO's global website, including regional markets in Europe, is no longer working.
While the sites are still running, there is no new information and the POCO store is also no longer available.
The POCO India website is still seen with all the recently launched products.
Xiaomi's global website has a dedicated section for POCO products, but the India website does not have it yet.
When the announcement was made, it was for the POCO global website. So it is not clear whether the Indian market is part of the change.
Separately in India, POCO is planning to enter the offline market after being online-exclusive since its inception. POCO phones sell exclusively through Flipkart and later Amazon. But now POCO is planning to start selling its phones in offline retail stores this year. The move is aimed at helping POCO increase its sales in India. Xiaomi already has a strong offline presence in India, this may make it easier for POCO to enter the offline market.
POCO is currently preparing to launch the X7 series in India on January 9. In which two devices like POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro will come. It has been confirmed that the X7 Pro will be the first phone in India to launch with HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15). It has also been confirmed that the smartphone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
